Just as the name suggests, the blooms of this tulip are extremely fresh looking and the boast of a burgundy look. The Burgundy Lace tulip's flowers are extremely long lasting and will truly be a romantic touch to your garden and to your vase of fresh cut flowers. To plant Fringed tulip bulbs, the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward or roots facing down and roughly 6-8" deep and 4-6" apart from one another. For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own. These beautiful flowers will reproduce every year with being a perennial.
